Brandy: Brandy tells me she stares at you because she just adores you. She is mirroring the love you feel for her, and is just throwing it back at you.
I had hoped that was what it was - she just looks at me so adoringly - it SO warms my heart!
Even if she is an older dog, she is just showing me the liveliest spirit, and she plans on being around for quite some time.
That just give me tingles - for a 12 yr old - she is SO lively. Although she loves to snuggle and sleep - she is a feisty little girl and I pray she will be with me for a long time!
She's not here to make any great revelations to you, just to show you the power of love and adoration (OK, let me amend that, because the power of love is a pretty awesome revelation)
I SO agree with that statement - it is a most powerful thing!
She's showing me small tennis balls, the flavored kind *they're out there, I've seen em* Brandy has not really been interested in toys - but Rudy isn't interested in balls - so I have not really had any - I will find some small flavored ones for Bran!
and she's showing me on her back pawing at the air when she's really happy.
That is funny - she loves to have her belly rub and when I talk baby talk to her and not rubbing her belly yet - she will paw with her back foot!
Do you sing the "Brandy, you're a fine girl" song to her? She's saying "Yes, I am a fine girl" She just prances when she walks, she's so happy she's your fine girl.
I swear this whole reading give me chills....I sing to both of them all the time and tell them all kinds of stuff...ok, yes, I am a dork... hee hee....and she DOES prance when she walks !!! I love when she is walking on the leash in front of me - her hiney swings back and forth!
She says there's really nothing special she'd like, but she does like any "out of the blue" things you bring for her, and just her. She thinks it's funny to lord it over Rudy when she gets preferential treatment, even if it doesn't even phase him.
LOL - she is so smarty when I bring something just for her - she taunts him!!!! But he is most kewl about it!!!
Rudy: Rudy gives me the feeling of such a well grounded dog, very balanced as Cesar Milan would say. Not much riles him emotionally.
OMG - that is so true - he is just a "good 'ole boy”!
He shows me walking in sand, that could be something he'd like to do
we have never been to the beach - but will plan a trip !,
and he'd really like the chance to chase a squirrel or some other furry critter.
TOO funny - he is the keeper of our backyard - NO critters get in and we do have squirrels that walk on the fence - he goes nuts. We also have rabbits in our neighborhood - but the only chance he has to go after one is when he is on the leash. I will arrange "a hunt" somehow!
I just get the urge to "go" when I look at his photo. Has someone "beeped" his nose? It made him sneeze or snort and then they laughed.
Andrea - you rock - chills again! When I play with Rudy, I grab his nose and every once in a while, he does snort!!! He loves it - because then we run around!
He didn't mind.
He's showing me something green and fuzzy, like a blanket or bed.
Hmmmmm, he has a fuzzy green frog toy - but no bed or blankie....guess I will have to go shopping
!He'd like to have a treat with bananas.
He does love bananas - I will make him a 'naner dessert tonight!
He says he's the best xmas present, isn't he.
He sure is!!!! I got him when he was 13 months old, at Operation Kindness, a no kill shelter...his story is a good one, that’s for another time.
He's confident and proud, not at all unsure of himself or his place in the family.
He knows he rules the roost and I tell him several times each day how much I love him and he is the man of the house!
He loves you too, and knows he's the best. When I asked what he wanted you to know, he responded with "Ice cream" and that's all I got.
When I have ice cream - not real often, I feed both of them bites, of course, using the same spoon - LOL!!! Maybe I will get them some frosty paws or a trip to Sonic, for an ice cream!!!
Your dogs didn't give me that "worried" vibe I've gotten from other dogs. They are happy and non neurotic and just want to love you.
I am SO happy they are happy!!!! Since we are now a single human household, they are truly my best friends!!!!
