Rae's
reading for Duchie
(Andrea's comments in black, Rae's in
red.)This is what Andrea
sent me on HRH the Duchess. She has been acting funny about walking on
hardwood or tile (like ummm four foot plant weird... ) since our recent
double shot of ice storms (she slipped a couple of times and I think it
scared her more than hurt her...) and I've been worried. Also freaked
out about a newish lump under her collar on her neck.
Andrea's reading:
Like I said before, you're right about the not walking on
hardwood=ice=pain. She's too smart and learned from her mistake, and
don't laugh. I told her she's really tough (puffs out her chest) and to
walk slowly like royalty and she won't slip.
She was sad because she missed someone whose spirit had been dropping
in on her has stopped.
She shows me how Sophie the puppy bounds and plays and she's a bit sad
that she never got to do that. First heat cycle she was bred and she
made good babies and they took them away. Got away through a break in a
board in a red building, trailer setting and it was as bad as you can
imagine. Shows chickens and a chicken coop. That's over and she's
living a life she's always dreamed. Loves the pink pampering.
Says lump in her neck is a fatty knot, will go away on its own and you
worry too much. She's lived through hell and a lumpy neck won't be her
end.
She's shows me Otto and says he's the King, well she's the Queen and
she dances like he does. They share something on a spiritual
level.
Tell Dad that bullet joke goes both ways...she's so feisty. Your
laughter=love so big= she's happy she's somewhere where they can tell a
good joke.
She was scared when she hurt her back, thinks about her puppies and
passing on a defect to them. I told her she is perfect and there is no
chance of that happening.
She'd like her bowls raised up off the floor in a black frame with blue
and pink. She says she has distinguishing taste.
She asked for a donut, and then said "aren't you just a sweet ol'
thing" like it was the doggie version of Bless your heart.
I have no
clue about the visiting spirit but Andrea clarified that it is not
someone I would know, perhaps someone who was kind to HRH before she
came to live with me. She DOES always look wistfully when
she sees any puppy running and playing...
Re: the big red building, trailer and chickens- the mill/BYB that I
think she escaped from is out in the country where I used to live and a
very trashy area. The red building is probably the barn they kept the
dogs in.
Have laid a path of towels and throw rugs so no slippage... and am
desperately seeking just the right bowls.
The bullet joke- OMG she sure told Andrea that one! DH is always
telling her she's not worth the price of a bullet (in baby talk for
doG's sake!) and she looks at him like "eff you, Daddy"...
And she sure did SNARF the donut, but it WAS food....
That's my
girl.
